Frequently asked questions
Everything parents and adult learners ask us before booking a free trial class with one of our Ijazah-certified teachers.
How does the free trial class work?
You book a slot that suits you, we match you with a suitable teacher, and you sit a full lesson at no cost and with no card required. Afterwards you decide if you'd like to continue.
Are your teachers really certified?
Yes. Every teacher holds an authentic Ijazah (a certified chain of transmission) and is personally interviewed and vetted for teaching quality, safeguarding and warmth with learners of all ages.
Can lessons fit UK, US and European time zones?
Absolutely. We have teachers available from early morning to late evening across all three regions, so you can schedule consistent lessons around school, work and prayer times.
Is this suitable for complete beginners and adults?
Completely. We teach children from age four and adults starting from the very first Arabic letter. Lessons are always paced to the individual learner.
How do parents follow their child's progress?
Parents receive structured reports covering attendance, pages or rules covered and upcoming milestones, plus access to a simple dashboard so you're always in the loop.
What ages and levels do you teach?
We teach children from age four through to adults of any age, from complete beginners with no Arabic reading ability to advanced students refining Tajweed or continuing a Hifz journey.
Do I need to buy any books or software?
No purchase is required. Lessons run over video call and teachers share on-screen Mushaf pages and worksheets during the session; a physical Mushaf at home is helpful but optional.
What happens if we miss a lesson?
Let your teacher know as early as possible via the parent dashboard or messages. Missed lessons can typically be rescheduled within the same week, subject to teacher availability.
Can siblings share a plan or have separate teachers?
Each learner is matched with their own dedicated teacher for consistency, but many families enrol siblings on separate plans scheduled back-to-back for convenience.
How do you vet and safeguard teachers around children?
Every teacher completes an interview, a teaching demonstration and identity verification, and agrees to our safeguarding policy for lessons with minors. Parents are welcome to sit in on any lesson.
